Lina Ali is an Indian-Australian writer from Parramatta. She is completing her Honours thesis in English Literature at The University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Islamic Studies at Charles Sturt University. In 2022, Lina was a Highly Commended Recipient for the All About Women of Colour Mentorship,, through which she received mentoring from Winnie Dunn and Dr Randa Abdel Fattah and published her piece with the Sydney Opera House. Lina has also been published with Meanjin Quarterly, SAARI Collective, SBS Voices, and South Asian Today.
